Fast, fun and comfortable
The DSS1 is handcrafted performance steel at its finest. Built for the purpose of all day road riding, this bike is comfortable and forgiving, but very importantly remains a lot of fun to ride. It’s quick yet stable, comfortable yet punchy, it will take the edge off that punishing climb and its grip will blow your mind coming down… All the important factors that add up for an amazing ride.
Choose the disc equipped DSS1+ for comfortable all weather, all season braking, or the DSS1CL for a classic calliper machine.
The DSS1 is built from oversized Reynolds 853 Pro Team tubing. Reynolds 853 Pro Team is Reynolds highest quality, highest strength seamless air hardening steel, drawn to give an incredible ride, while keeping minimal weight. Its heat treatment increases fatigue resistance, making it incredibly strong and impact resistant. We have custom selected the tube diameters, butt profiles and wall thicknesses to give the incredible ride of the DSS1. Importantly, Reynolds 853 also consists of up to 98% recycled material content.
The DSS1 is hand built to order. The frame is TIG welded and coupled with the excellent light weight and confidence inspiring Columbus Futura carbon fork. It is available in 54, 56 and 58cm sizes and we also offer custom sizing for +£100. We offer numerous custom options including Di2 cable routing and rack mounts among others, so you can tune the DSS1 to your exact needs.
Finishing touches include silver brazed stainless braze ons, stainless hard wear and super sexy machined brass STI adjusters.
The DSS1+ is built for thru axles and flat mount disc callipers. Accepting up to 30c tyres, allowing you to dip into the rough stuff when the feeling takes you.
The calliper rim brake option features 28c tyre clearance.

Geometry and fit
Combined with the DSS1's custom picked tube set. The geometry makes for a fast and fun, yet comfortable bike. Feeling planted in the turns and stable on the straight aways, the bike encourages your speed, yet keeps its poise for longer journeys.
We offer 3 “stock” sizes; 54cm, 56cm and 58cm, alongside our custom size program. The stock sizes tend to cover most bases. If you have fit details already, then you can send these through to us and we can see which would be the most suitable. If you’re not fitting on one of the below sizes or you want that stance just so, custom is the way to go…
We love paint and for the DSS bikes you have several options:
Single Colour – If you like it simple you can choose from any of our base colours for a single colour with logo’s design. (Included in base frame price)
Signature – Of course one of the most fun parts of the DSS bikes for us is coming up with a Signature paint job for it. The DSS1 gets the incredible pink to lime fade which really comes alive when sprinting hard under the sunlight. (Additional cost involved)
Custom Signature – Still haven’t got you covered, then let us work up a special version of the Signature paint design for you. Let us know your chosen base colour from our awesome colour palette and we’ll cook you up something special! (Additional cost involved)
